As all Clio 3RS owners know, the gearboxes are a known weak spot with third and fourth synchros failing causing crunchy gear changes.
We are able to offer a comprehensive rebuild service carried out in our workshop by our technicians.
Basic rebuild service price covers the following -
- Strip down and inspection
- Comprehensive cleaning of all parts
- Fitment of revised genuine Renault third and fourth synchro rings, end bolt and seals
- Reassembly and final test
Boxes are available on a exchange basis of which or to purchase outright.
If purchased on exchange, we will send your rebuilt box out upon receipt of your old unit or with an exchange charge of £200.00 ex VAT being paid as a deposit then we will send the rebuilt gearbox first. The exchange unit we receive from you must be in serviceable condition, if it is not then additional costs may be incurred. If an exchange gearbox is ordered and a gearbox is not returned to us then an additional £100.00 ex VAT fee will be charged.
We are also able to add fitment of LSD units upon request, along with any other gearbox components you may require. Please contact us to discuss options and prices.
