We have now released our KTR 3" decat pipe for the Megane 2 RS models. It is made from 3" bore stainless steel and it is a direct replacement for the original restrictive catalytic converter and will fit the 225/F1/R26 and R26.R variants. Comes complete with the all important mounting brackets fitted.
(Gaskets not included)Once fitted you will find that boost builds faster and the car pulls much harder through the rev range. On our own R26 we have seen a gain of 12bhp and 15 lbs/ft or torque by just fitting the larger decat pipe. The exhaust note also takes on a more purposeful growl which sounds superb.We would advise having the car remapped, or the ecu program adjusted once the decat pipe has been fitted. You will also not pass an emsissions test with this part fitted and your emissions light may come on. It is possible to fix this as part of a remap.
With a revised design for 2018, these are now fully tig welded and include the all important support brackets. We have changed many aftermarket versions which have cracked due to not having any brackets. Our decat pipe should not be confused or compared to the shiny Chinese imitations.
