细节
The lambda sensor is situated in the exhaust system, one before and one after the catalytic converter, and is there to make sure the engine is running the correct fueling and emissions. Over time lambda sensors can lose their efficiency and this can result in poor fuel economy, bad running and a loss in power. Replacing one, or both sensors, can easily cure these issues and bring the car back to full health again. The sensor we supply can be used to replace either the upstream (before cat) or downstream (after cat), or both at the same time.

All Phase 2 172 models (from 2001 onwards) and 182 models have 2 lambda sensors. Early Phase 1 172 models have a single lambda sensor before the cat but some of the later Phase 1 models had a second sensor after cat as well. You can simply check this by looking under the car to see if there is a sensor after the cat, just below the gear lever.
