Many owners are choosing to adapt their vehicle to the 172 Cup specification for both weight saving and power increase. By removing the very weighty air conditioning pump, you not only save the weight of the pump itself, you also stop the system from zapping power. In addition to this the costly auxiliary belt automatic tensioner is removed and a simple alternator tension adapter is fitted.
Supplied with all brackets, replacement Cup specification alternator and auxiliary belt, ready to install. Removing the air conditioning system saves around 11kg in weight overall.
Suitable for all Clio 2RS 172 and 182 models with factory fitted air conditioning.
NOTE: This kit now includes a billet aluminium upper alternator pivot as Renault have stopped production of this part.
