One of our best sellers! This performance induction kit will fit all Clio 2RS 172 and 182 models (Including Cup and Trophy) and is available with a choice of silicone hose colour. The hose colours available are black, blue, red, yellow, white, grey and orange with light green and purple available as special order.
The idea of the kit came about after we had a spell of many different cars on the dyno with various induction kits fitted. Most of the time these were losing power and in every case we tried our prototype induction kit and the car gained power right across the rev range, even compared to all the best "other" kits out there. It wasn't until we were happy with the final design that we put the kit into production. The kit includes our high flow air filter with a tapered spun alloy inlet funnel which is covered by a special foam which has a dust catching polymer already applied, giving an almost "dry to touch" feel. This foam covers a stainless steel frame which makes up the shape of the filter. Our custom inlet hose is held in place using the brackets and clips supplied. Full fitting instructions are also supplied and the complete installation is a simple DIY job which should not take more than 30 minutes.
On the rolling road we have seen consistently good gains with the kit fitted to standard cars and even higher gains when fitted to remapped cars and those fitted with cams. In the graph you can see the gains achieved by fitting the kit to a standard engine which already had a high flow panel filter fitted. No other modifications were made to the car, only the air filter was changed.
Please note the kit will not fit cars fitted with an oversized battery, it is designed to work with the standard sized battery.
