These pads represent the best on the market for performance braking. Tried and tested in WRC and Circuit racing Carbon Lorraine's reputation is second to none.
We have tested these pads on our own cars on road and track and they have been absolutely superb. They stop the car very well from cold and do not require any heating up like some track derived pads. They are extremely resistant to brake fade and on track we found our selves constantly out braking much more exotic machinery fitted with state of the art brakes, they really are that good. We have even had customers call us to tell us how "special" these pads are having used them for the first time having not come across such a good brake pad before. If you are after a good all round performance brake pad for track use you will not go far wrong with the Carbon Lorraine pads.
These pads are a must for pure stopping power.
RC5+ Compound is slightly more mild than the RC6, but is still classed as a race pad.
RC6 Compound has a higher temperature coefficient and is far more aggressive on discs. This compound should be used on track / race cars. Equally good from cold, higher temperature range and longer life make the RC6 the obvious choice for your competition vehicle.
The RC8 compound boasts CL Brakes highest friction level and is used in top-tier motorsports such as WRC, WTCC, NASCAR, ZA V8, AWD GrpN, etc. Extremely high friction levels allow shorter stopping distances and the flat torque curve provides excellent modulation to prevent wheel lockup.
