We now have the long awaited differential available to help the Megane 225 models get all their power down onto the road and not lose it through excessive wheel spin.
This new Quaife ATB (auto torque biasing) diff is designed to maximise traction using a unique gear system. This is instead of a clutch and plate ramps diff which has a tendancy to lock up quite harshly.
This gear system set-up automatically biases the torque away from the spinning wheel and across the drive shafts in a much more controlled way, meaning no snatchy steering or unwanted torque steer.
The diff is a direct replacement for the original item and can be fitted in our workshop if required. This diff is certainly a must if you are serious about getting the best possible performance from your car whether it is being used on the road or track.
