Gripper Plate Differentials are widely regarded as the best for dedicated motorsport applications. Featuring the unique adjustable ramp angle to pre-load the differential, it can be set to driver preference as well as specific application. The ideal choice for Sprints, Hill Climbs and other tight turn events as a lifted wheel will not generate wheel spin!
In Rallying they offer the additional advantage that, in the event of failure of other transmission elements, e.g. a broken drive shaft (even at low levels of preload) they may still provide sufficient traction to drive out of a stage.
This differential is a like for like replacement for the OE Renault unit and can be fitted in our workshops. For fitment you will need to replace both Differential bearings and drive shaft oil seals.
