Following the success and popularity of the differentials for the Clio 2 RS 172 and 182 models along with the ATB differential for the Megane 225, Quaife have released their new diff for the Clio 3 RS. This will fit all models including the Clio 197, R27, Cup and all 200 versions. It is designed to work with the standard drive shafts and fits inside the standard gearbox casing.
This new Quaife ATB (auto torque biasing) diff is designed to maximise traction using a unique gear system. This is instead of a clutch and plate ramps diff which has a tendancy to lock up quite harshly. This gear system set-up automatically biases the torque away from the spinning wheel and across the drive shafts in a much more controlled way, meaning no snatchy steering or unwanted torque steer. The diff is a direct replacement for the original item and can be fitted in our workshop if required. This diff is certainly a must if you are serious about getting the best possible performance from your car whether it is being used on the road or track.
