This is a set of 16 CatCams valve springs made specifically for the F4R 2.0 16v engine & will also fit the K4M engine in the Twingo RS 133 models. They are a direct replacement for the original springs and are mostly used with performance, high lift cams which can cause a standard spring to fully compress which can result damage to the valve train. They are also stiffer to help prevent valve bounce and this also helps the valves to close faster on high revving engines.
Also available from the drop down menu is the option of Gold springs which have undergone an additional heat treatments and they are polished, both processes are done to reduce fatigue at continuous high rpm use. Gold springs are recommended particularly in naturally aspirated applications where high rpm will be used frequently.
These are only suitable for the F4R & F4R-t engines.
