Our KTR Stainless Steel Clio 3 RS 197/200 manifold is designed as a performance upgrade and specification upgrade to replace the standard Renault unit.
The standard manifold has two main problems:
> Flexible joints on standard headers. These are subject to corrosion and over flexing when engine mounts start to become worn. These break leading to expensive replacement costs and will eventually fail again. Our KTR manifold has a heavy duty flexi section located at the end of the manifold and this does away with the need for two smaller flexi joints i the middle of the manifold, as per the OE version, giving enough flex in the manifold to allow compliance under engine movement but also a sturdy stainless steel joint that will not fail after time and use. Our manifold is also fully TIG welded to maintain strength.
> Restrictive head flange. The OE manifold has 24mm port apertures which are restrictive where as our KTR manifold has 33mm ports which allow maximum air flow and gas speed.
As well as the above benefits over the standard manifold our new manifold also does away with the restrictive pre cat. This frees up a little more power as well as giving the exhaust a slightly sportier exhaust note. Dyno testing has shown a gains of 5bhp and over 10lbs/ft or torque in the mid range.

Due to this manifold not having the pre cat we would advise having a remap carried out once the manifold is installed. This is something we can carry out in house or we are able to supply a suitable map with an RS Tuner tool.
