The tuning boxes have been specifically designed and made for K-Tec Racing. These tools are suitable for unmodified OEM specification engines or engines with minor modifications like panel filters, induction kits and catback exhaust systems only. Any further modifications would require custom mapping.
Maps have been optimised for 98RON fuel, lower grades will see decreased performance gains.

The Tuning box is a piggyback electronic device for entry level engine tuning. To increase the engine performance the microprocessor monitors the signals of the ECU and changes them where necessary. This optimisation enables a performance and torque increase for the engine as well as improved fuel consumption through the increased torque being able to be utilized in lower gears.

Custom made high quality looms with original connectors enable the boxes to be a do it yourself fitting on the Renault range and only needing a short time to connect to the car. If unsure of the installation we would still recommend installation at one of our workshops or by an experienced professional.
