Having studied the original Renault manifold and system design we could see that although the standard manifold looks quite complex, much of its design and shape has come down to making it easy to fit. With this in mind we set about a new manifold and exhaust system design which has proven to give very good gains over the standard set up.
Our system uses 2.5" bore pipework for maximum flow and has the option of a 200 cell sports catalytic converter. The manifold uses 1.5" header pipework and is a 4 to 1 design . The complete system and manifold are made from stainless steel and come with our lifetime guarantee. The tailpipe is 3.5" with a slight slash cut which sits very well in the standard bumper cut out.

This is what we call a modular system which means you will be able to build this system up in stages. For instance the manifold we have designed is a direct replacement for the original item so you could fit the manifold with your standard or aftermarket exhaust system (although this will leave you without a cat fitted), you could then add the full manifold back system at a later date and this will have the option of being supplied with or without a sports cat in the front downpipe. Another option is that you will also be able to buy the system as a downpipe back system as this will fit to your standard downpipe, this will include the silenced centre section, link pipe and rear silencer with tailpipe and then at a later date you can add the manifold and front downpipe.
The graphs above (open it and click on the picture for a larger version) shows the gains achieved from simply fitting the complete system and manifold to a standard car, as you can see there is a gain of 12bhp peak power as well as a gain of 14 lbs/ft of torque in the mid range. On this test car we then went on to map the car and achieved a total gain of just over 20bhp and 21lbs/ft with just the full exhaust system and remap.
